Tim Newton’s Songs:
Timber and Coal and Grandmother Mountain were written by Tim Newton, inspired by experiences exploring the Appalachian Mountains in Thomas, West Virginia, a former timber and coal town, and visiting with Wilma Steele of Mingo County, who shared her home, food and knowledge of coal history with the authors of Saving Annie’s Mountain. Songs are available for download. We would appreciate a donation of a minimum of $5.00 per song to Wind Dance Farm & Earth Education Center, a 501c3 nonprofit. Please contribute through the Donate Button on the Who and Where We Are page. Enjoy the songs!
